We are proud to be entering our 14th year as a Freshman High School and we are very excited about our mission as a school – “Learning for All Students – Whatever It Takes!” Our mission is bold and challenging and achieving our mission will not be easy or the result of a proven formula, but will require strong connections and collaboration between the VSW staff and our VSW parents, guardians, and families.
Achieving “Learning for All” of our students ultimately becomes an individualized, student-by-student endeavor where our students and their families are working very closely with our staff to create goals, plans, and interventions that will help each student to find success at our school. We look forward to getting to know all of our VSW families very well and working with you to support the learning of your student at our fantastic school!

I Have a Plan Survey
Students are reminded to please complete your IHaveaPlanIowa career survey before break. You can use the Media Center computers before school (MC opens at 7:30) and during study hall, the Green Down computers after school, or work on it from your home computer. Questions? See your team leader.
Flash Drives
We have had five lost flash drives turned in the past two days. If you regularly use a flash drive at school, please use a permanent marker, such as a Sharpie, and put your name on it. The Media Center has both black and silver Sharpies available for your use.
Lost & Found
Lost and found items will be set out on tables by the forum next week on Monday & Tuesday (Nov. 23 & 24). Any items not claimed before the Thanksgiving break will be donated to a local charity. Parents, please feel free to come in and look this stuff over for your student's missing items.
Notes to Parents:

The coupon books feature a wide variety of coupons worth over $3,000 to LOCAL merchants.
